Glorishears of Brummagem Morris Dancers from Birmingham are the city’s premier women’s morris side. We perform traditional Cotswold Morris dances wearing our blue and jade kits. We also appear as Brummie Gems Molly Dancers dressed in charity shop finery, bedecked with sparkling jewels.
We dance at a wide range of events and bookings, including folk festivals, fetes and local cultural venues. We have danced at Symphony Hall, on BBC Midlands Today and on Radio WM.
New dancers and musicians are always welcome. We practise on Sundays at St. John’s Church Centre, Church Road, Perry Barr, B42 2LB. Further details can be found here Try Morris Dancing For Free
We also appear as Brummagem Mummers with our own unique take on the traditional Mummers Play.
